Privacy Policy

Effective date: 14 July 2026

Pickle ("the app") is a meal recommendation app published by Vili Lavikainen.

The short version: Pickle does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device.

What the app stores on your device

To work, Pickle saves the following information in the app's local storage on your phone:

This data never leaves your device. Pickle has no user accounts, no server, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party tracking.

Health-related information

Allergy and diet selections are used only to filter recipe suggestions inside the app, on your device. They are not transmitted anywhere.

Pickle is not a medical product. Recipe allergen information is provided on a best-effort basis — always check product labels if you have a serious allergy.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes all data it stored. You can also clear individual lists (pantry, shopping list) inside the app.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Pickle adds optional features that process data elsewhere (for example optional cloud sync), this policy will be updated first and the app will ask for your consent inside the app before any data is synced.
